Arrange a private appointment with Dr Jonathan Katz
In the first instance, it is recommended that you visit your GP to discuss the need for a specialist opinion. Your GP will then usually write a referral letter, which you can bring with you to your first appointment. This letter will usually contain the relevant previous medical history and a list of any medication you take, which aids assessment. Most insurance companies insist on a GP referral before a private consultation. Even if you are uninsured, it is better to seek a referral from your GP to ensure Dr Katz has the relevant information/results when he sees you, but you can self-refer if you wish.
